Come and join our Board of Trustees at BikeAbility Wales!

We are a small, friendly, Swansea based charity helping people who would otherwise be excluded to enjoy the pleasures and health benefits of cycling. We welcome disabled children and adults, older people, people with physical and mental health conditions and neurodiversity, those who face financial barriers to cycle and those who wish to learn to ride.

 

We are looking for Trustees to join our Board on voluntary basis to help us with the governance of the charity, including overseeing strategic decision making, management of risk and financial planning.

 

We are looking for Trustees who are:

• Passionate about inclusive cycling and enabling people to take positive steps for their health and wellbeing

• Able to express views and opinions

• Supportive of the the work we do

• Full of ideas and different ways of solving problems

• Willing to devote time and effort to their trustee duties

 

The Board of Trustees includes individuals with a variety of skills, knowledge and experience. Previous board experience is not necessary as a full induction and training will be provided.

 

We would be grateful for anyone who would like to become a trustee and has passion for breaking down barriers to cycling, then drop us a line!

 

• Time commitment: Four Board Meetings per year, plus approximately one to two strategic discussion sessions
